My memoir, Becoming the Ocean—about the two spent two years I spent sailing across the Pacific Ocean on my boat, Delos, and the dissolution of my marriage along the way—is forthcoming in 2026. I also have a Substack newsletter where I explore how the stories we tell ourselves to survive are often the stories that keep us from living. Things like, “people can’t be relied upon,” or “I need to be a certain way in order to belong,” can keep us safe when we’re young, but as we get older, these stories can limit us and prevent us from growing into the people we were meant to be. In my newsletter, I talk about my own struggle with this, and my journey from people-pleasing to wholeness.
